Children
Dear reader,
I couldn't stay away. There's just been so much on my mind that I needed to come and write on here.
This past Friday we had the Newtown, Connecticut shooting. I had been about my day and hadn't heard anything that morning. However that afternoon I checked Facebook and everyone's statuses were about praying and how they couldn't believe what happened. I immediately went to the news, saw the pictures of children crying and read the headlines! My heart broke completely for those children, for those families, for the neighbors, for our nation.
It just wants me to hug my family and friends tighter.
It made me think about when I lost my friend and that pain is unbearable. I couldn't imagine losing a child. Then I think of the Savior. I bet he is holding these precious children in his arms now. It reminds me of the scripture Luke 18: 16:
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Love,
Megan
